This is the last week of the Met’s Warhol Show which ends Dec. 31 (open Holiday Mondays)….A “Flower” Photo Silkscreen by Warhol flanks a Met Museum Urn of Holiday Flower Bouquets of Hydrangeas, Magnolia Leaves and Berries ….Note Warhol’s Peachy Pink’s harmony to the Christmas Bouquets’ palette of Reds and Greens….. Catch the Met’s Christmas Bouquets and Shows, especially the last week of Warhol!

The 4 Urns and Central Urn at the Information Desk always display the Grandiose Floral Arrangements that give Color and Warmth to the Beaux-Arts Architecture of the Great Hall…When Betty Woodman’s 1-Person Show occurred, the Met displayed her Ceramic Vases int these niches, and the Flowers were for once upstaged by the Magnificent Vases….But always the Vases present a beautiful floral prelude to the treasures of the Met.

My Christmas Bouquet is a little smaller than the Met’s (!) but always in Red and Green for Christmas week…. adding Ranunculus, Tulips, Holly and Pine…. and the textured stripe pattern of the Cana leaf gives a hint of a striped “Candy Cane” motif! But of course, flowers are Eye Candy, compliments & Thank you to Nicole at Eli’s Flower Shop! Enjoy your Holidays!!!!
